How to use the Smart SurgeArrest with Amazon Echo (Alexa)

Solution:
To connect your APC Home account to Amazon Echo (Alexa) follow the process below:

1. Open the Amazon Alexa app.
2. Tap the menu icon.
3. Tap Skills & Games.
4. Tap the Search icon.
5. Search for APC Home.
6. Tap on the APC Home skill.
7. Tap Enable to Use.
8. Enter your APC Home Username and Password and tap Next.
9. You will get notification that "APC Home has been successfully linked".
10. Tap the X icon.
11. Tap Discover Devices.

You will now be able to control your Smart SurgeArrest from your Amazon Echo.

Note: If you change an outlets name in the APC Home app, you will need to rediscover devices again on your Amazon Echo. This can be done by saying "Alexa, discover devices".
