How to re-launch PowerChute Network Shutdown CentOS 7, 8.1 Appliance initial setup menu
Issue:
Would like to re-launch the initial PowerChute Network Shutdown CentOS 7 Appliance setup.
Product Line:
PowerChute Network Shutdown v4.2, v4.3, v4.4
Environment:
PowerChute Network Shutdown v4.2, v4.3, v4.4 Appliance installed on VMware ESXi
NOTE: The PowerChute v4.4 Appliance is CentOS 8.1 based.
Cause:
Need to re-launch the initial setup menu
Solution:
Would like to re-launch the initial PowerChute Network Shutdown CentOS 7 Appliance setup.
Product Line:
PowerChute Network Shutdown v4.2, v4.3, v4.4
Environment:
PowerChute Network Shutdown v4.2, v4.3, v4.4 Appliance installed on VMware ESXi
NOTE: The PowerChute v4.4 Appliance is CentOS 8.1 based.
Cause:
Need to re-launch the initial setup menu
Solution:
- Log in to the PowerChute VM as root
- Enter the command systemctl enable initial-setup.service
- Enter the command touch /.unconfigured
- Enter the command init 6
