Data Center Operation | Server is running low of storage space.
Issue:
StruxureWare Operation server is running low of storage space.Product Line:
StruxureWare Data Center Operation (DCO)
Environment:
StruxureWare Data Center Operation (All Versions)
Cause:
Server does not have enough storage space to either run another backup or Operation services will not start because of backup or old data and jobs.
Resolution:
The best option would be to increase the storage size for the virtual machine hard drives. To temporally increase available space on the hard drives, Operation has a built-in service to purge old data, files, and jobs. Console into the server and run the following command:
sudo service operations purge
It is also recommended that old backups are manually moved or deleted from the /data/backup directory. To manually delete old backups navigate to /data/backup from the root directory. Then run the following command.
rm <filename>
