Solution:

Orion NPM is a network monitoring application. It delivers real-time views that enable you to track network performance visually. It ships with the APC PowerNet MIB preloaded. Some configuration is required on the APC Network Management Card (NMC) and PowerChute to manage them through SNMP with OrionNPM.

Network Management Card:

SMNPv1 Access is enabled by default - found in Administration-Network-SNMPv1-access. This allows the NMC to be discovered out of the box by NPM. To allow traps/alarms to be received by NPM, go to the NMC - Administration - Notification - SNMP Traps - Trap Receivers - Add Trap Receiver and add the IP address of the machine running NPM.

PowerChute Business Edition (PCBE):
PowerChute Serial Shutdown (PCSS):

PowerChute Business Edition version 9.5 & 10. offers SNMP v1 and SNMP v3 See the User's Guide attached.
"PowerChute Business Edition 10.0.5 -Type-A User's Guide." See pages 24 - 28

PowerChute Serial Shutdown: See the User's Guide attached.
"PowerChute Serial Shutdown Agent Type-A User Guide." See pages 25 - 29

NOTE:  PCBE version 9.2.1 and below only supports SNMP on Windows OS. The SNMP service (provided by Microsoft, seeFA159596 ) must be installed on the PCBE machine. In the PCBE Console, right-click the machine with the SNMP service installed, go to Properties - Communications - SNMP Communications, and tick the Enable SNMP Communications box (The 'Show Advanced Items' tickbox on the bottom of the window must be checked).
