About->Support menu option missing from AP8XXX series Rack PDU Web Interface on certain firmware versions
For reference, the option should appear, as shown below:
- All serial numbers
- Specific firmware versions - AOS v6.1.3/rpdu2g v6.0.9 APP and AOS v6.1.3/rpdu2g APP v6.1.0
This is a firmware bug.
The firmware bug will be addressed in a future version of firmware. In the interim, this page can be accessed by manually changing the URL in the address bar.
To do this, access any web page after logging into your Rack PDU. The URL should look similar to below: http://10.10.10.10/NMC/SeCmWBB5rT0TYOwDUfIbgA/home.htm .
and change the URL to gentrbl.htm
like this: http://10.10.10.10/NMC/SeCmWBB5rT0TYOwDUfIbgA/gentrbl.htm
. Then, press enter or Go to tell your web browser to access this new URL.
Alternatively, using the CLI command logzip
and downloading the debug logs from the /dbg directory via FTP or SCP still works normally as described in knowledge base article ID FA156131
