Customers look to BTU output specifications when sizing cooling solutions

Resolution:

Because an external battery pack has no charger or other active electronics, it creates no heat unto itself. These products are considered to be an extension of the main UPS unit. When sizing cooling systems for Smart-UPS products you should use the BTU data provided for the UPS itself, regardless of how many external battery packs are connected.
