What do the LED's on my Network Management Card mean?

Issue
The status and link LEDs (found on the left and right side of the ethernet port) on a Network Management Card give information on the current status of the NMC
Devices with an embedded Network Management Card 1 include (but are not limited to): Metered/Switched Rack PDUs (AP78XX, AP79XX), Rack Automatic Transfer Switches (AP77XX, Environmental Monitoring Units (AP9320, AP9340, Netbotz 200)
Devices with an embedded Network Management Card 2 include (but are not limited to): 2G Metered/Switched Rack PDUs (AP84XX, AP86XX, AP88XX, AP89XX), Certain Audio/Video Network Management Enabled products.
Network Management Card 4 – AP9644
Devices with an embedded Network Management Card 4 include: Galaxy VS
Environment
All firmware versions (unless otherwise noted)
All serial numbers
Network Management Card 2
The status LED (right side facing) shows the following:
LED Behavior
Meaning
Off
The card is not receiving power or is in a boot up
Solid Green
The card has valid IP settings
Solid Orange
The card does not have valid IP settings
Flashing Green
The card does not have valid IP settings
Flashing Orange
The card is making BootP requests
Alternating Green/Orange
Rapidly - The card is booting up
Slowly - The card is making a DHCP request
