Issue:
Special "grounding" cage nuts can be used to ground an equipment chassis to the cabinet.

Cause:
Installation instructions may call for grounding cage nuts instead of connecting ground straps to the equipment chassis, then to a busbar.
Resolution:
APC does not currently offer a grounded cage nut.
A better solution is to use AR8395 copper busbar and connect a ground wire from the equipment's chassis ground points directly to the busbar. This makes a much more reliable ground path.
