InfraStruXure Manager and UPS units with two Network Management Cards.

Published date: 14 August 2013

"Certain applications call for the use of two Network Management Cards in a single UPS. An example of this would be having the need to run Powerchute Network Shutdown on multiple networks (one card per network). Both Network Management Cards will be discovered and show as normal in the InfraStruXure Manager real time status screen. Though both Network Management Cards appear as normal, the InfraStruXure Manager allows the user to launch to only one of the cards. The other will respond with the following error message:

""Could not launch device details. Check the device HTTP properties, and try again.""

The HTTP properties screen for this device will be grayed out.

The Network Management Card that does not allow the user to launch to the UPS should be deleted from InfraStruXure Manager."
