My Back-UPS shuts down after 15 minutes on battery power while there is enough back-up time remaining.

Issue:

When utility power fails and the Back-UPS provides battery power, the Back-UPS shuts down unexpected after 15 minutes

even when there is enough back-up time remaining.

Product Line:

All APC Back-UPS products with No-load Shutdown functionality.

Cause / Resolution:

APC Back-UPS products with No-load Shutdown functionality enabled will shut down while operating on battery power when

the attached load is less then 15 Watt.

Please refer to the APC Back-UPS user guide for your model and check if the Back-UPS does have No-load Shutdown functionality.

Example:

In case the Back-UPS does have No-load Shutdown functionality, you can Enable or Disable this functionality.
