Issue:
Missing native shutdown battery options in Windows

All supported Windows OS

Cause:
When viewing Power Options (go to Control Panel - Power Options) you may find that the configurable battery shutdown options are missing / not available. This may be caused by the HID driver (Human Interface Device) being updated from HID UPS to APC UPS or APC Battery BackUP.

Solution:
If you are no longer using PowerChute software and want to utilize native battery options you may need to roll / revert the HID Driver to HID UPS.
