SISAB (Skolfastigheter I Stockholm AB) owns and manages most of Stockholm’s 2500 school buildings that host about 200,000 children daily. Like other modern school systems, the quality of its education demands the resiliency of edge computing.
Challenge
IT Systems were located in the basements of the school buildings. SISAB management required a secure, reliable solution that could provide school administrators with more uptime certainty.

Micro data centre with Lithium-ion power protection delivered a standardized, integrated solution with long life (8-10 years), low maintenance requirements, and remote capabilities.
Results
SISAB now has one centralized, locked room of IT equipment which only authorized personnel can access, and administrators can now anticipate reduced service costs as a result of the lithium-ion batteries’ longer lifecycle.
