Issue:
The small 0J-730-0532 Modbus Connector can be difficult to wire.
Product line:
AP9635, Galaxy VM, Galaxy VX
Environment:
All models, all serial numbers
Cause:
Due to the small size of the connector, with high tension on its internal springs, it can be difficult to connect the wires to it.
Resolution:
You need a Crimping and Wire strip tool, needle nose pliers, or similar tool. Use the crimping tool to clamp down on the connector pushing in the orange tab in as show in the following video.
Insert your wires and release.
Same can be done to remove the wires. This give you a stable way of in inserting or removing the wires.
