NBWC100U does not work as coordinator if serial devices configuration is set to NBPD0180

Issue:

NBWC100U does not work as coordinator if serial devices configuration is set to NBPD0180

Product Line:

NetBotz

Environment:

NetBotz 4xx and 5xx devices
NBWC100U

Cause:

If you have previously configured a NetBotz appliance to communicate with an NBPD0180 sensor pod as a coordinator or have simply used the "serial devices" configuration and chosen a 180 sensor pod, connecting a NBWC100U will not properly see that unit as a coordinator and it will not allow the NBWC100U to properly communicate to the wireless network as a coordinator.

Resolution:

If you have previously configured the serial devices as a 180 or simply can not get the wireless NBWC100U to properly communicate, make sure there is no configuration for the NBPD0180 under the serial devices applet in Advanced View. If there is, delete the listing for the NBWC100U, remove the entry for the 180 in serial devices, reboot the NetBotz appliance, and reconnect the NBWC100U.
