Issue: Cannot establish communications via USB with the SMT or SMX UPS after installing PowerChute Agent.

Cause:
USB cable not connected during software installation

Solution:

If you installed the PowerChute Agent without the USB communications cable connected to the UPS, then you cannot subsequently establish communications. You need to correctly connect the USB communications cable from the computer to the UPS and then re-install the Agent.
