Where to download and how to install the NetBotz Advanced View software application.
 
Product line:
NetBotz 300-500 Series [v3 Hardware] (355, 455, 450, 550, & 570)
NetBotz 300-500 Series [v2 Hardware] (320, 420, & 500)
 
Environment:
NetBotz v2-v3 Hardware (all versions)
Advanced View Software Application
 
Cause:
NetBotz 300-500 series appliances can only be configured using the Advanced View software application.
 
Resolution:

Advanced View can be found on the CD that was shipped with the Appliance.  Insert the CD into your computer and install the Advanced View software using the provided executable file on the CD.

NOTE: It is recommended that you match the version of Advanced View with the version of Botzware on the appliance. Failure to do so may cause unsuspected results and errors.

Downloading Advanced View from the Web for Models: 355, 455, 450, 550, & 570

1) Navigate to: http://updates.apc.com/botz/av/install.htm

2) Download the Installer for your OS.

3) Follow the instructions on the download page to begin installation.

4) Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
NOTE: The installation also includes a utility for configuring the network settings of an appliance.  You can exit out of this if it is not needed.

5) Launch the Advanced View software from the start menu or the Desktop Icon.

Downloading Advanced View from the Web for Models: 320, 420, 500
NOTE: Products that require the use of Advanced View 2.6 is End-of-Life and End-of-Support.  It is highly recommended to look at purchasing newer appliances.

1) Download the Advanced View 2.6 Installer File from BOX: https://schneider-electric.box.com/s/iezwmiih67vicp8blv301qkosu58nonw

2) Run the downloaded executable file and following the prompts to complete the installation.
