Schneider Electric Partners with Capitol Power, Inc. to Expand Market Presence, Meet Evolving Customer Needs
West Kingston, R.I. – October 6, 2015 – Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management and automation, today announced the expansion of its Advanced Solutions Partner (ASP) program with the addition of Capitol Power Inc., a critical power solutions manufacturers’ representative serving Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina. With a focus on Schneider Electric’s IT Business, Capitol Power will be the first ASP program member to also expand support for solutions and services provided by the company’s Partner and Energy Businesses.
Through this partnership, Capitol Power will increase Schneider Electric’s presence in the data center and industrial applications markets in the Mid Atlantic and Southeast, providing consistent local support for Schneider Electric solutions users across the region. Furthermore, as a member of the ASP program, Capitol Power will expand on its more than 15 year history as a provider of UPS and switchgear solutions, enabling the company to meet a wider variety of customer needs through an enhanced portfolio of offerings that now also includes data center software and services and precision cooling solutions.
