Cause
As compatibility for AP9630/31 sy3p APP v6.3.2 is different than previous sy3p NMC2 firmware APP versions, this article intends to clarify and outline compatibility for users.
Resolution
Within the global Data Center and Facility 3 Phase UPS product catalog, exists different varieties of Symmetra PX including 20, 40, 48, 80, 96, 100, and 160 kVA models.

This temporary NMC2 firmware release AOS v6.3.2/sy3p v6.3.2 will provide support for Symmetra PX 20, 40, 80 kVA models only (especially to help address knowledge base article ID FA238115 and HTTPS access issues). This firmware APP has historically supported Symmetra PX 20, 40, and 80kVA models with SmartSlot cards (AP9630/31) as well as Symmetra PX 48, 96, 100, and 160 kVA models with an embedded Network Management Interface that also offer an optional AP9630/31 SmartSlot card, which users can add to their system to monitor their UPS only.
Symmetra PX 48, 96, 100, and 160 kVA users should avoid this update for their optional SmartSlot AP9630/31 cards as it will not work or communicate with their UPS. sy3p v5.1.6 or v5.1.8 should be used for PX 48, 96, 100, and 160kVA models for the time being.
A second v6.3.3 update, available as of July 2015, provides support for Symmetra PX 48, 96, 100, and 160 kVA models while maintaining support for Symmetra PX 20/40/80. See below for a compatibility chart.
