APC Partners will now have the ability to receive Battery Replacement and Warranty Renewal notifications directly from Customer's Connected Smart-UPS with SmartConnect. The SmartConnect portal has a new feature that delivers system-based automated renewal notifications & messaging to Channel Partners. The new "Renewal Support" feature is designed to reduce the complexity for Partners/Resellers to generate sales for Extended Warranties & Battery Replacements as the system now indicates when a customer needs a renewal. Renewal information will be shared with Channel Partners from customers that have opted in to the service. Partners can now serve customers more efficiently while gaining proactive insight in upcoming renewal needs.
UPS NMC Firmware Update v6.6.4 with BACnet/IP support, for smooth integration of UPS with Building Management Systems (BMS), is now certified by BACnet Testing Laboratories (BTL). This certification ensures compatibility with similarly certified 3rd party BACnet Devices and Management Systems. In addition, this firmware update addresses multiple reported issues including, - mitigating ROBOT vulnerability, by providing an option for the users to select active cipher suites, - now able to accept SSL/TLS certificates issued by third party Certificate Authorities such as Microsoft Certificate Services - overcome white screen on web User Interface, due to abnormally large amount of cookies in the web browser.
