PowerChute Network Shutdown Fails to Install on RHEL 5.10 and RHEL 5.11
Issue:
PCNS fails to install on RHEL 5.10 and RHEL 5.11 after running install.sh
The following error message appears:
Error: dl failure on line 863
Error: failed /opt/APC/PowerChute/jre1.7.0_45/lib/i386/client/libjvm.so, because /opt/APC/PowerChute/jre1.7.0_45/lib/i386/client/libjvm.so: cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied.

Environment:
OS: RHEL 5.10 and RHEL 5.11 x86
Build: PCNS 3.1, 3.2, 4.0, 4.1, 4.2
NOTE: Does not occur on x64 systems and on systems with Latest versions of Java.
Cause:
This problem is caused by SELinux enforcing an access policy. The policy forbids the installer from changing the attributes for memory protection of a memory segment.
RedHat Enterprise Linux has a SELinux set to “Enforcing” mode by default.

- Upgrade JRE to 1.8.0_121 or 1.8.0_131 on RHEL 5.10 and 5.11 x86 systems.
- Install PCNS using the above JRE.
