In order for the UPS to recognize your XRCC as frame #1, the frame # setting switch has to be a position 0 (as labeled on the switch itself). That position is at 0 degrees / 3 o'clock / horizontal pointing right. If it points to position 1 on the original battery frame label, the UPS sees that as frame #2 instead of frame #1.
NOTE: You can use any number for a single frame, but if you are using all 6 frames, you'll want to start at position 0/frame 1. If two frames have their switches set to the same position, the system detects that and shows a warning - 0x1072 Invalid Configuration – multiple XR frames with the same address.
The label will be modified as shown below so the switch opening is better aligned with the number used by the UPS
