Recommendations for operating at lower ambient conditions

If you are going to be operating the system below 65F, you should add the items below.

1)      there should be a crankcase heater installed on the compressor

2)      a low ambient control

3)      suction line accumulator

4)      confirm compressor superheat

These items will assist in preventing liquid floodback, flooded starts, and refrigeration migration during off cycle.  These situations are detrimental to the life of the compressor.
