Change in NetBotz private LAN IP does not fully update.

NetBotz 750 Private Lan IP change fails to update

NetBotz NBRK0750/NBWL0755 firmware rev 5.2.1 or prior

Cause:

When you configure a NetBotz appliance with a 172.x.x.x IP address, the private LAN should automatically reconfigure itself to a 192.168 address. Due to a defect, this caused the appliance to not detect the conflict and not switch the private network to the alternate subnet. Subsequent response traffic is sent to the wrong interface resulting in browser timeouts and other issues.

Resolution:

For the time being, we recommend not adding the NetBotz 750 /755 to a network in this range. This issue is scheduled to be resolved in the next release of the NetBotz 750 firmware, 5.2.2.
Should this be a requirement, please contact technical support to obtain a patch.
