APC by Schneider Electric bases its RoHS and REACH compliance status knowledge on information provided by third parties and has taken and continues to take reasonable steps to provide representative and accurate information including conducting destructive testing or chemical analysis on incoming components and materials.
Compliance with the RoHS Directive means that products comply with the essential requirements of EU Directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS2). Please note that many APC products do not require an EC Declaration of Conformity, marking with the CE mark, nor a Technical File.
Components typically used in the manufacture products declared as RoHS compliant have undergone testing and chemical analysis on incoming components and materials to confirm that the total PBDE including deca-BDE monomers are less than 1,000 ppm (0.1 wt%).
REACH Compliance means that the declared product does not contain a listed Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC) at a concentration greater than 1,000 ppm. This compliance information represents our best knowledge relating to the presence of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) in our products. The list of SVHCs is continuously updated; unless noted, the declaration includes the latest substances listed on the ECHA website. This compliance information evolves over time, due to improved product knowledge and the addition of more SVHCs.
