WP-14: Requisitos básicos de gestión de infraestructura física de redes críticas para centros de datos de próxima generación La gestión de la infraestructura física de los centros de datos ya no puede seguir considerándose de forma independiente de la arquitectura de gestión de IT. Para gestionar un cambio rápido y alcanzar los niveles de disponibilidad demandados manteniendo el coste total de propiedad bajo control, los administradores de IT ya no pueden permitirse el lujo de confiar en las soluciones de gestión personalizadas y primitivas del pasado. Estas soluciones han dejado de ser eficaces y se deben sustituir por sistemas basados e integrados en estándares abiertos de gestión de IT. Teniendo esto en cuenta, en este documento se describen los requisitos para la gestión de la infraestructura física de redes críticas de la próxima generación desde el punto de vista del marco ITIL.

WP-100: Management Strategy for Network-Critical Physical Infrastructure When choosing a management solution for the physical infrastructure of IT networks, management of individual devices is necessary in order to have visibility to the many data points required for the reliable operation of network-critical physical infrastructure (NCPI). Element management solutions offer the optimum approach as they manage a particular type of device and have the ability to assimilate and, more importantly, make manageable the large volume of data necessary for network availability.
