4. How do I obtain replacement batteries for my UPS?
Click here to order new "User-Replaceable" batteries for your UPS.

All APC UPS models manufactured since 1995 contain "User-Replaceable" batteries that you can easily and safely swap out without having to send in the unit for servicing. (This does NOT include the Smart-UPS 250 or 400.) Some units made in 1994 also have "User-Replaceable" batteries. You can determine the year of manufacture by looking at the first two numbers of the serial number located on a white bar-code sticker on the rear of the unit. If you are unsure of whether your unit has "User-Replaceable" batteries, you can check the User's Manual at http://www.apcc.com/support or contact APC Support by calling 800-800-4272.

If your UPS does not have "User-Replaceable" batteries you can participate in our Trade UPS program where you trade-in your old UPS for a brand new one at a discounted price. To participate, go to http://commerce.apcc.com/tradeups.

You can also send your unit to one of our professional Authorized Service Centers for refurbishment by calling: CBM (Coastal Business Machines) in Baltimore, Maryland at 800-944-9320 or Sacramento Computer Power in Sacramento, California at 800-441-1412.
