Vendor-Neutral Recommendations Optimise Power and Cooling Infrastructure and Plan for Future Growth or Consolidation

Sydney, Australia – February 24, 2009 – APC by Schneider Electric, a global leader in integrated critical power and cooling services, today announced the launch of the Electrical Efficiency Assessment Service designed to address the growing concern of energy efficiency in the data center.  Delivered by APC’s global Professional Services organisation, the vendor-neutral suite of services includes comprehensive evaluation of energy use in customers’ facilities with detailed reports on total data center input power, IT load, Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE), and power and cooling conditions.  Consultants also provide proposals to resolve issues with a range of recommendations to suit customer needs.
