Philippe Arsonneau
President Asia Pacific and Japan
Philippe Arsonneau is President of Asia Pacific and Japan for APC by Schneider Electric. Appointed in May 2010, Philippe is responsible for the overall growth, P & L and development in the Asia Pacific and Japan region. Philippe was previously part of the APC EMEA leadership team, in the role of Vice President, Nordics, DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), Central Europe & Israel. He first joined Schneider Electric in 1991 and spent 13 years in various positions across the company, including strategic roles in the Building and Energy sectors with Sales, Acquisition and Offer Creation responsibility, and Project Management and Sales Leadership roles in the Transmission & Distribution business. From 1999 to 2006, Philippe was General Manager for Siemens, gaining valuable management experience in Automation and Drives with responsibility for a global portfolio. Philippe’s extensive experience across Schneider Electric’s markets is an asset to the APC management team. Philippe believes the qualities of a successful leader are passion and commitment in all undertakings, the ability to listen attentively, being customer-oriented and humility. Philippe, his wife and four children reside in Singapore. In his free time, Philippe enjoys listening to music, spending time with his family and practicing sports (jogging, cycling, skiing). He used to compete actively in cycling and skiing and has a black belt in judo. Philippe is also effectively tri-lingual in English, German and French and conversant in Spanish. Philippe holds an MBA in International Marketing in Advanced Technologies and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
