Leonid Mukhamedov is President of Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) at APC. Appointed in January 2010, Leonid is responsible for managing sales, service and data center solutions throughout the EMEA region and for ensuring successful collaboration across Schneider Electric to create a seamless customer experience. In 2007, Schneider Electric acquired APC and combined it with MGE UPS Systems to form Schneider Electric’s Critical Power & Cooling Services Business Unit, which recorded 2008 revenue of €2.6 billion (including APC-MGE sales of $3.7 billion) and employed 12,000 people worldwide. Schneider Electric, with 114,000 employees and operations in 100 countries, achieved sales of €18.3 billion in 2008.

Leonid came to his role as President, EMEA APC after serving as VP and Managing Director EMEA for Pelco by Schneider Electric. Prior to his role at Pelco, Leonid spent 12 years in sales leadership positions for APC in EMEA.

Leonid brings to his role expertise in emerging markets and has been consistently recognized for his sales leadership in the Russian IT market. Leonid joined APC in 1995 as a District Manager in Moscow, where he initiated the enterprise business in Russia. He went on to assume key leadership roles in Russia and throughout the EMEA region as his career progressed. Most recently, from March 2007 to June 2009, Leonid led Russia, the Middle East and Africa in building a skilled data center team to serve the large and extra-large data center needs of the market. Leonid’s sales and service experience across EMEA, including channel management and sales operations expertise add value to the APC management team.

Leonid attended The Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, earning a Masters Degree in Radio physics.

Leonid is located in Paris, France with his wife and two sons. He enjoys tennis and photography and believes that building trust is important for successful leadership.
