Karen Miranda

Chief Financial Officer

Karen Miranda is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at APC. Appointed in July 2010, Karen is responsible for the global financial operations of APC by Schneider Electric.

Since initially joining Schneider Electric in 1988, Karen has held positions of increasing responsibility within the company’s financial operations including Internal Audit, Plant Accounting and progressing to Finance Manager for Sales and Marketing. In 1994, she was Director, Finance for EPE Technologies, a fully owned subsidiary of Schneider Electric and a manufacturer of uninterruptible power supplies.

In 1997, Karen left Schneider Electric to join Bell & Howell as Director, Financial Planning and Analysis and subsequently joined Lee Technologies Group as CFO before returning to Schneider Electric as Vice President, U.S. Controller in 2003. In January 2007, she was appointed CFO for the North America Operating Division, a position she held until her appointment as CFO at APC. Karen’s extensive experience in the finance industry gives her a valuable perspective in her role as CFO at APC.

Karen holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois, and an Executive MBA from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.

Karen resides in Rhode Island with her husband and daughter. She is actively involved with the American Heart Association and a supporter of the Go Red for Women movement, as well as an avid Duke University fan. She believes courage, authenticity and a passion for talent management are important for successful leadership.
