Chenhong Huang

Dr. Chenhong Huang is SVP, Greater China for APC. Appointed in July 2011, Chenhong is responsible for the overall growth of the region, with a strong focus on delivering integrated solutions and driving customer focused collaboration across Schneider Electric.

Chenhong has extensive experience and knowledge of the telecom industry. Prior to joining Schneider Electric, Chenhong was President of Tellabs in China, responsible for leading Tellabs’ business across the country. Before joining Tellabs, Chenhong spent 17 years at Nortel in both the US and China. He began his career at Nortel working on the wireless team, eventually holding various positions in wireless management in the US before being appointed Director of Technology for Nortel Greater China in 2000. In 2001 he moved on to become the Director of Marketing for Nortel Greater China, and then on to hold various Vice President and General Manager roles in the Greater China region. In 2009 Chenhong was appointed President of Nortel (China) Carrier Sales, fully responsible for all carrier business in a very dynamic and competitive market.

Chenhong holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Fudan University in China, and a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University in the USA.

Chenhong, his wife and two children reside in Beijing, China.
