Our Programs

Days of Action

APC by Schneider Electric employees engage in en masse community service projects throughout our local RI and MA communities as part of our semi-annual Days of Action. On the Days of Action our employees "transform their energy into action" by volunteering to work on community service projects organized by our partner organizations. 

Scholarships:

APC fosters a strong commitment to education with special emphasis on science and technology. Our Community ImpACT goal is to establish undergraduate scholarships in the fields of science and technology at a select number of universities and colleges.

Disaster Relief:

While we focus our giving on our programs and partner organizations, we also realize that we cannot plan for every event. Under special circumstances, disaster relief efforts will be coordinated through Community ImpACT and the Schneider Electric Foundation.

Innovation:

We take pride in setting the standard for innovation within our industry. Planting the seed of innovation in local classrooms is just as important to us. In the coming year, we will launch a pilot school-based competitive program to challenge targeted students to explore innovations in math and science.

Employee Match:

We encourge our employees to actively contribute to our community and we want to support them in their commitment. Because of this, APC matches employee charitable contributions up to $500 per employee per calendar year. Organizations must be a qualified as 501(c) 3 to be eligible to receive a company match.

FUN Raising:

FUN Raising is an opportunity to involve our employees onsite in our local offices in a fun activity (think silent auction, pumpkin carving, etc.) that is also a fundraiser for an employee selected charity. FUN Raising allows us to recognize that our employees are passionate about many charitable organization beyond those that we have selected as our partners and enables APC to contribute through a company match of employee funds.
