Issue:

Unable to remove Active Directory groups from StruxureWare DCE.

Product Line:

StruxureWare Data Center Expert

Environment:

Potentially any version

Cause:

If an Active Directory server goes off line or is decommissioned before the entry for this server is removed from StruxureWare DCE, the groups added through active directory may remain and may not be able to be deleted.

Resolution:

If possible, put the active directory server back on line. Once it can communicate with DCE, delete the entry for the active directory server within DCE. If the server can not be brought back on line with the same IP or server name, please contact technical support for StruxureWare in your region.
