Ask a Question

The vertical cable manager is interfering with cage nut holes and the ability to mount equipment into the NetShelter cabinet, what's wrong?

Issue:
After installing finger-style cable managers the customer cannot install equipment.

Product Line:
AR7580A, AR7585, AR7588

Environment:
All serial numbers.

Cause:
The cable manager interferes with the mounting holes on the rails.

Resolution:
There is one of two possible installation errors:

1) After attaching the cable manager to the rail the cable manager must slide towards the side of the cabinet. This will draw it away from the equipment mounting rail. The cable manager has a slotted hole so it can slide to the side.

2) When installing the cable managers in the rear of a cabinet the accessory mounting rails must first be moved. If not, the finger-style cable manager will interfere with the equipment mounting rails.
