Cause:

Troubleshooting posting issues.

Resolution:



First, browse to the bot in question and check the PICPOSTURL field:

http://ip-of-wallbotz/http.txt


If the \""PICPOSTURL\"" doesn't have the port specified, it's the standard port 80, otherwise it should be whatever follows the hostname of the NBC.

If you want to change the port or the hostname/IP of the NBC, you’ll type the following in the URL field of the bot:

http://ip-of-wallbotz/setHttp?PICPOSTURL=http://ip-or-hostname-of-nbc-server:PORT/central/photoman

Note: If the ports are correct, and the hostname is correct, make sure the appliance can resolve the hostname of the NBC. To do this, telnet to the appliance and do a \""gethostbyname nbc-server-name\"".
