Why does the trap I received from StruxureWare Data Center Expert omit the argument for sensor ID?
StruxureWare Data Center Expert device's sensor ID does not show in trap for preformatted alarm.

StruxureWare Data Center Expert NMS integration feature. 7.x and prior.
StruxureWare Data Center Expert (DCE) has an NMS integration feature that automatically sends traps for all device alarms. In this trap, DCE includes 18 different arguments. Argument #13 is defined as the sensor ID.
DCE is reconfigured with some device alerts usually for APC devices. These preformatted alerts, also known as essential alerts, are created when the device is discovered. These alerts are defined by the essential alerts DDF downloaded from the device and since they are defined by the device itself, there is no way the device can determine the unique sensor ID that DCE generates for each sensor. Due to this limitation, the sensor ID is not available for alerts. This causes any traps from the NMS integration feature that originate from the reconfigured or essential alerts to be sent without this sensor ID value.
This is a limitation of the essential alerts feature. Alarms created for manual thresholds do not have this limitation and will be sent with the sensor ID. If the sensor ID is required, a manual threshold must be created for the specific sensor.
