Resolution:

Here are some common questions and answers that address the functionality of the NetBotz Rack Access PX (part number AP9360).

Question: How are the locks powered on the NetBotz Rack Access PX (part number AP9360).

Answer: The locks are powered by the controller. You only need to supply power to the controller, which runs off of either 220 volts/50 Hz for Europe, and 110-120 volts/60 Hz in North America.

Question: Where is the proximity card reader located? Do I need to purchase a separate reader to use the proximity cards?

Answer: The antenna which reads the card is built into the lock. Therefore, you do not need to purchase a separate reader device.

Question: Is it possible to open the rack in case of emergency, without the proximity card?

Answer: Yes, each kit comes with two keys per lock. Therefore, if the controller unit loses power, you can still access the rack with the key.

Question: Besides the proximity cards, how else can I control access to the rack?

Answer: Locks can also be remote controlled via the software interface, which is password protected.

Question: Is it possible to make duplicate copies of the keys that ship with the NetBotz Rack Access PX?

Answer: Yes, you can have duplicate copies made. In most cases, you will need the key part number. The part number is CH751.
